Beschreibung
The master's degree program can be regarded as a consecutive continuation of the bachelor's degree program in geodesy and geoinformation, but also appeals to interested parties who have acquired knowledge in a first degree in a related university or university of applied sciences program.

The program imparts additional basic knowledge in a one-semester advanced phase and, in the subsequent two-semester in-depth study, scientifically in-depth application and research-oriented engineering knowledge in a selectable profile of in-depth subjects and supplementary electives. Interdisciplinary and in-depth projects related to and incorporating current research also give students the opportunity to specialize and set focal points without limiting later professional fields of activity.

Master's graduates in geodesy and geoinformation possess the fundamentals to systematically expand existing specialized knowledge, to recognize processes in their entirety and to critically question them in a well-founded manner. They have thus acquired the professional competence to take on research and development tasks.
